Preliminary Film Evaluation:

I think that I was particularly good in both the planning and execution of the preliminary task. This is because when brainstorming ideas I was able to contribute a good film idea and story line which we ended up using in our film. I also helped in terms of the execution of the film as I was an actor in the film and a part of the storyline. I did also help with the editing of the film however I feel that I didn't help as much with that aspect of the film production in comparison to planning and filming.
I think the good aspects of the completed film are the close up shots that were filmed by Kara. For example the close up of the mobile phone and the text messages, along with the close up of the door handle when someone entered the room and finally the close up of the guys shoes at the end of the film.  In terms of improvement I think that the part of our film that could have been improved was the dialogue shots as they could have been smoother transitioning into each  other, they were a bit choppy. I feel that they should have been filmed a little differently and perhaps edited a little better.
I have learnt that the importance of having a storyboard and shot lists as it helps save so much time. As you know exactly what you need to film, in  which order and with what equipment. This allows for a much faster more effective filming session in contrast to what it would be if you didn't plan your storyboard and shot lists.
