Genre Preferences:

Chick Flick

By looking at this film still, it is easy to approach what sort of genre it is presenting. For example, in this image, you could easily tell it is based in a school, whilst two girls side by side are on the phone.

Example: Clueless

Comedy

This film still presents a group of men laughing with the police, from this image, you could tell that it is comedy due to the bright use of light for the scenery other than a horror with a dark atmosphere.

Example: Grown Ups 2

Action

This example of an Action film could easily be told through this film still as the image shows conventions of an action film.  For example the way they are positioned and lined against each other as they stare away, whist the background is quite misty and the city stands in the back.

Example: Fast and Furious 7
