Evaluation:
What Went Well
After finishing the rough cut of our short film there were a number of parts that went well and a few that need to be improved.
Collectively as a group we all agreed that the order of the shots, of our short film was where we wanted them to be. We also decided that the storyline was clear through the use of our shots and the audience were very clear on what was happening. The sound of our rough cut was quite good in terms of the running shots and being able to hear the robbers footsteps clearly. However we decided to exemplify this even further at a later stage in the editing process by adding sounds such as running, heavy breathing, and police sirens to our short film.
Improvements that need to be made
In terms of improving our rough cut although the shots we wanted were in the correct order the quality of the camera work used throughout our blog post was quite poor. For example there was a lot of shakiness in the camera, parts of the shot were being cut off for example the subjects feet or head and also the improper use of zoom throughout needed to be changed. This was because it caused the finish of our film to look unprofessional and amateur.
As a way to improve on this we decided to book the camera equipment out for the first weekend back after the holidays during which we would use the time reshoot many if not all of the shots that made up our short film. Particularly focusing on improving our camera work and making our film just look more professional and sophisticated holistically.
As a whole I am very pleased with what our group has produced do far for our rough cut however I do feel that once we have the opportunity to reshoot particular shots it will improve our work even more.

Mise en Scene- Behind the Scenes Filming Alannah
As one of the shots of our shot list we decided to have a shot of a blueprint, to add to the main plot of our title sequence being that of a bank robbery. Instead of creating blueprints from scratch we decided to use the internet to find an image of a believable blueprint. After finding one we printed the same image out in different sizes in order to make it look like it was a number of different blue prints to reflect or show the different parts of the bank. In order to make the blueprints look even more realistic, we decided to use a black marker to write over the blueprint things such as "Bank" different numbers, arrows and the letter "X" After we had finished writing on the blueprints we positioned them on a table in a dark room with nothing but natural lighting, in order to give the illusion that the blueprints were in some sort of office or lair. We then used a camera with a top light to film various shots, filming over the blueprint, zooming in on different parts of the blueprints. We decided to do many different shots of this in order to allow us to have more options when editing as to which shots we would use.

Production Run Through 2
PRODUCTION RUN THROUGH 2.
In order to get the shot of a the bank for the opening of our film we decided to go to the main road near Angel station, where their is plenty of traffic and cars going past. We decided to film in this location not only because it was where the bank was but also because it would allow us to be able to set the genre of the film as being action. This was because of the different noises and sounds all together, the cars, traffic lights, cars honking, people talking etc. We then went on the opposite side of the road to where the bank was set up our tripod and camera to allow us to be able to pan the traffic and then when the bank was in the frame we zoomed into the bank sign. We did multiple shots like this in order to allow us to have more footage to choose from when it came to editing later on.

This picture was captured by two of our members, Kara and Nicolette on the 26th of November, which was the first day we started filming. On this day, our filming was successful even though it was cold and started to spit towards the end of our session. We managed to record our running shots, in the back roads of the college located on Hermit Street, as well as the running shots, we also captured establishing shots of whereabouts we were. Overall, it was a successful day of filming.
